Beauty eh
Click to view video"It was one of those days when it's a minute away from raining. There's this electricity in the air, you can almost hear it. And this bag was just... calling to me. Like a little kid begging me to play with it. That's when I realized there was this entire life behind things, and this incredibly benevolent force that wanted me to know there was no reason to be afraid ever.
Video's a poor excuse, I know. But it helps me remember... I need to remember. Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world I feel like I can't take it... and my heart is going to cave in."

I watched this bag stuck in a tree in my neighbourhood for two weeks, until rain and wind beat the crap out of it and the foliage of the tree consumed it. Every time that I looked, the music from the plastic bag scene in American Beauty ran through my head. Instead of a bag dancing freely in the wind, this bag struggles for freedom. I’m sure that’s a metaphor for something.
