Forever
On a sunny afternoon in late September, my brothers and I finally laid our parents to rest. They had no wishes for their remains. It was decided to bury them with my fathers family. Something had to be done and this was it.
When you are young you believe your parents are there forever. As you get older you realize there is only one thing that is forever.

the end of so many years
so many strange twists
a generation has passed
it now remains up to us to
correct as many of the mistakes
as we can and leave our children
to wonder just as we now do ---
